Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RemediDocs (the "Service"), operated by RemediDocs ("RemediDocs", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
RemediDocs is field-documentation and business-management software for mold, water-damage, and radon remediation professionals, including job tracking, reading and equipment logs, report generation, invoicing, and a customer portal. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind your business to these Terms. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on prospective renewal terms with reasonable notice. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Free plans may have usage limits and may change.
4. Your Data
You retain all ownership of the data and content you submit ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of Customer Data and for having the rights to submit it, including any information about third parties such as property owners. You can export your data (reports as PDF, invoices as CSV) at any time. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to store unlawful content; (b) attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service; (d) resell or provide the Service to third parties except your own employees and contractors; or (e) upload malware. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Professional Responsibility & Compliance
RemediDocs is a documentation and productivity tool. It is not a substitute for your professional judgment, licensing, or for compliance with any law, regulation, or standard (including IICRC S500/S520, ANSI-AARST, EPA guidance, and state and local requirements). Report templates are provided to assist your documentation; you are solely responsible for verifying that your work, readings, and the documents you produce meet all applicable requirements and are accurate. We make no representation that any output is, by itself, legally or contractually sufficient.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, payment processing, cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, and AI features). Your use may be subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by RemediDocs and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to operate and improve the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RemediDocs WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RemediDocs harmless from claims arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or non-payment. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export your data beforehand, and we may delete Customer Data after a reasonable period.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notified to you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RemediDocs is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located there.
